    Academic Gap Programs

A gap year or semester allows you to take time between high school and college – or even during college – to explore new ideas and places. Some gap year programs focus on academics but take you to a new setting or culture. These programs often combine academics with work experience, community service, language immersion or internships. They allow you to explore the world beyond a campus while learning new skills or subjects that will help once you get to college. Some academic gap programs offer college credit.
