    Animals/Nature Summer Programs

From the Galapagos Islands to a farm in Massachusetts, summer programs focused on animals and nature give pre-college students the chance to meld their passion for the environment and animals with a science-driven curriculum that will propel them toward success in higher education and beyond. Students can take part in rare animal observation, nature photography, birding, sustainable agriculture and many other types of study. The programs take place in a diversity of locations, from college campuses to farms, camps and international locations like the Andes, the Amazon basin and Costa Rica. Delving into topics like ecology, wildlife biology, geology, oceanography and botany, students receive hands-on and classroom STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education. Programs also offer extracurricular activities such as camping, hiking, canoeing, horse riding, snorkeling and swimming.
