    Debate Summer Programs

Debate education is about more than just learning the best arguments. By participating in summer debate programs, students in middle or high school will come away feeling more confident, eloquent and collaborative. Learning to debate is an art and a science, fueled by the study of broad, multi-faceted knowledge across disciplines and the ability to connect and build a relationship with the audience and judges. Students interested in many fields benefit from practicing debate. A summer session can add skills like speech composition and delivery, analysis, research and note taking skills to fields as diverse as business, journalism, law, political science, medicine or the performing arts. Students enrolled in summer debate programs are taught by dedicated and experienced trainers who help them develop essential skills. Teamwork in competitive debate is crucial and so students will engage with peers as part of the educational curriculum and in a social setting.
