    Economics Summer Programs

Economics is integrated into nearly every academic field of study and professional category. Students who participate in high school and pre-college summer economic programs learn fundamental economic concepts such as micro and macro economics, historical trends, human behavior and social phenomenon. The building blocks of economics are the infrastructure for finance, banking, business, government and many more careers. Participants in the economics summer programs learn how economics played a role in key historical moments and build practical leadership skills. Gaining a knowledge of economics as a social science gives students a more nuanced understanding of labor, capital, land value, inflation, fiscal policy and other key social and political ideas. College credit is often available for the programs, which are offered on the campuses of top ranked universities.
