    With more than 70 undergraduate majors from which to choose, Ashland offers the breadth and scope of a large university while affording each student the individual attention and careful guidance that only a small college can provide. Ashland also offers a unique four year graduation guarantee.

    For more than 130 years, Ashland University has been home to individuals striving for academic, professional and spiritual growth. Focused on rigorous academic pursuits, students of Ashland develop critical thinking, leadership, and professional skills. The one-on-one relationships with faculty and students, challenging programs, and collective sense of community are a few of the reasons students cite for coming to, and staying at, Ashland University.

    The 135-acre campus is beautifully landscaped with flower gardens along tree-lined brick walkways that connect 45 buildings. Ashland University is located in the small, welcoming city of Ashland, Ohio, near Cleveland and Columbus. Life at Ashland is defined by a tremendous sense of community and caring, with abundant opportunities for leadership, service, and fun. Beginning in their freshman year, AU students are encouraged to get involved on campus in areas such as research, theatre productions, Greek Life, religious activities, and intramurals. More than 100 clubs and organizations provide students with countless opportunities to grow and mature beyond the classroom.

    Nearly 70 undergraduate majors are available through the College of Arts and Sciences, the Richard E. and Sandra J. Dauch College of Business and Economics, the Dwight Schar College of Education, and the Dwight Schar College of Nursing and Health Sciences. Some of Ashland's many majors include accounting, art, biology, computer arts & graphic programming, economics, marketing, music, psychology, and theatre. Majors combine liberal arts study with hands-on, real-world experience. AU's honors program includes intensified courses and an honors capstone project/thesis.
