    Overview

Austin College is a private college focused on the liberal arts & sciences while also offering select pre-professional programs and a graduate teacher education program. With over 45 majors and areas of study, an Austin education transforms the intellectual lives of students as it challenges them.

No doubt about it, life on the Austin College campus is always interesting. Because the majority of our students live on campus, theres always something happening. Much of your home life will center around the residence halls, where first-year students are grouped into clusters. Here, strangers quickly become friends and friends become family over late-night study breaks and impromptu pizza parties. As a student at Austin College, youll choose from more than 70 student organizations ranging from political to academic to service groups. Austin College also offers fraternities and sororities, a full range of intramurals for men and women, and NCAA Division III athletic competition in six sports for men and six for women.
