    Overview

Bellevue College promotes student success by providing high-quality, flexible, accessible educational programs and services. Program options include associate degrees, bachelor degrees, & career-related degrees and certificates. Online classes and telecourses are also offered.

BC was founded nearly 50 years ago as part of a movement to provide affordable and accessible education to citizens of the Eastside and surrounding area, and we are proud to continue this tradition today.

BC is the third-largest institution of higher learning in the state of Washington. Were a student-focused open-access institution that places a strong emphasis on excellent teaching and small class sizes. Last year, a tremendously diverse group of 37,000 students chose BC to fulfill a variety of educational and professional goals.

The majority of our students enroll in one of six transfer programs – they complete the first two years of their education here and then transfer to a university to complete their bachelors degrees. We send more transfer students to the University of Washington than any other community or technical college in the state.
