    Overview

Carson-Newman University is a private, Christian liberal arts institution that combines both undergraduate and graduate academic programs with an overt mission of serving God through serving others. A short drive to both Knoxville and the Great Smoky Mountains, CNU's campus is nestled in an ideal and scenic Tennessee location.

Carson-Newman commits to a Christ-centered education in parternship with churches of the Tennessee Baptist Convention. As its website states, a CNU college experience is dedicated to "expressing Truth, Beauty and Goodness in service to the Appalachian region and beyond as an extension of the Kingdom-focused ministry of the Church."

At CNU, faculty are dedicated to helping you achieve your unique dreams, and no matter your career aspirations, CNU has a program for you. CNU's intimate class sizes enable meaningful relationships with professors and connections with classmates that last will lifetime. There is a student organization for everyone, whether one's interest is math or interior design.
