Central Michigan University has offered degree programs through its Global Campus unit to working adults for more than 40 years. The University operates a network of CMU Learning Centers in more than 50 locations throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Established in 1892, Central Michigan University is among the nations 100 largest public universities. CMU offers more than 200 academic programs at the undergraduate, masters, specialist and doctoral levels.
In addition, CMU has established the nations 137th College of Medicine to address a growing shortage of primary care physicians in Michigan. The inaugural class of 64 students began its studies in August 2013.
