    Centre is a top-50 liberal arts college that attracts bright, highly motivated students from around the country.

    Centre College focuses on the individual and providing an enriching, individualized, life-changing experience for each student. Our goal is for campus to be brimming with a variety of different events and activities that appeal to a wide range of students. We want to give you as many opportunities as possible to have fun, meet new people, and try something different. During your Centre experience, you will form valuable relationships with peers and professors that will last a lifetime.

    Centre is unique in many ways. Our study abroad program allows students to explore the world with ease - 85% of students study abroad at least one time during their college career. 98% of students live in on-campus housing, making Centre's close-knit community that much more apparent. Centre's general education curriculum provides students with a strong foundation in core skills, such as writing, public speaking, critical thinking, problem solving, community engagement, environmental stewardship, science, and the arts. From here, students can go on to tackle whichever path they choose; Centre offers a wide range of more than 50 majors, minors, graduate partnerships, and pre-professional/dual degree programs. Additionally, the Norton Center for the Arts provides opportunities to experience various performances and programs from around the world.
