    Overview

Gannon is a Catholic, Diocesan university whose learing experience is rooted in the "Catholic Intellectual Tradition"; this college experience emphasizes "faith, leadership, inclusiveness and social responsibility." Small class sizes allow a closeness to professors and classmates that makes courses engaging and one-on-one reasearch opportunities easy to come by. Gannon is made up of two campuses in Erie, Pennsylvania and and Ruskin, Florida.

Ask students when they have had the most fun at Gannon, and you will get a variety of responses: playing ping-pong at Waldron, pick-up basketball with friends, Homecoming, the Jason DeRulo concert at Gannons Hammermill Center, hanging out in their residence hall, freshman orientation, improvisation class. Everyone has a different answer. That's because Gannon offers a wide variety of activities and organizations to meet all interests.

Gannon is committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship and service. A Liberal Arts foundation paired with access to hands-on experiences and internships enables students to excell as they explore their interests and possible career paths.
