    Overview

    Ivy Tech Community College- Central Indiana is located in Indianapolis and serves nine counties: Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Morgan, Putnam and Shelby. It's the largest in the system, with more than 35,000 students enrolled in four divisions and 46 degree programs.

    The region has five full service campuses, located in Indianapolis, Franklin, Greencastle, Lawrence and Noblesville, as well as 11 community locations. The college's Indianapolis campus includes the Glenn W. Sample North Meridian Center, Glick Family Technology Center, the Julia M. Carson Learning Resource Center, and the Automotive Technology Center. In January 2012, the region opened the Illinois Fall Creek Center, the former home of St. Vincent Hospital.

    The building houses programs in the Divisions of University and Transfer and Business and Public Services, along with the Bowen Commons, Fall Creek Cafe and Jazzman's Cafe and Bakery. In August 2012, the College opened the Ivy Tech Corporate College and Culinary Center, the former home of the Stouffer's Hotel building, located one block north of the Indianapolis campus. The Corporate College and Culinary Center is the home of the region's Corporate College and Hospitality Administration program, as well as a conference center and student operated restaurant, COURSES, and cafe /bakery. Established in 2003, the Fairbanks Center for Health Professions on the Lawrence campus houses programs in the Divisions of Health and Business and Public Services. The campus also includes the Public Safety Building, home to the region's homeland security/public safety program. The region also offers classes at locations in Avon, Beech Grove, Carmel, Greenwood, Greenfield, Lebanon, Mooresville, Shelbyville and west Indianapolis. In fall 2014, Ivy Tech opened its 32nd campus in Noblesville. The campus will provide Hamilton County residents easier access to college credits, technical certificates and associate degrees.
