    Overview

    Jackson College offers associate, certificate and baccalaureate programs. Programs are arranged into Pathways, designed to create a clear path to an academic degree or certificate. Jackson College is a world-class institution of higher education where learners succeed and community needs are met. Jackson College is an institution of higher education whose mission is to assist learners in identifying and achieving their educational goals. 

    Jackson College owns more than 500 acres and sits on a scenic rural site six miles south of the city of Jackson, and also operates JC @ LISD TECH in Adrian, the Clyde E. LeTarte Center - Hillsdale, and North Campus in Jackson.

    In recent years the College has renovated McDivitt Hall, renovated the Victor Cuiss Fieldhouse, added a state-of-the-art Information Technology and Library building (William Atkinson Hall), built two 96-bed campus housing complexes (Campus View 1& 2), renovated the core of Whiting Hall and renamed it the Rawal Center for Health Professions, and expanded student life with the return of athletics. In 2011 the Health Laboratory Center (HLC) was completed. The HLC includes laboratory spaces for nursing and allied health programs, including sonography, radiography, respiratory care, medical assisting and emergency medical technician. It features additional learning studios, a seminar studio, a high-tech conference room, office areas and student study areas. Each year, more than 9,000 students enroll at JCC. About 60 percent take classes on the Jackson campus; 18 percent at JCC @ LISD TECH, 7 percent at the LeTarte Center and 15 percent online.
