    Overview

As a liberal arts college, Keene State is focused on you, the undergraduate student. Classes are small (18:1 student/faculty ratio). Professors concentrate on teaching and on guiding student research. Keene State offers more than 40 majors and degrees, including interdisciplinary and individualized majors.

The campus itself called a hidden jewel of higher education by a recent visitor is the setting for that process of discovery. And its a beautiful campus by any standard: 170 landscaped acres, ivy-covered brick buildings, science labs and dance studios and Student Center humming with activity and purpose. More than beauty draws 5,000 students here, however its the opportunity to develop their individual talents, harness their collective energy, and make a difference in the world.
