Founded in 1893, Lewis-Clark State is a public undergraduate college with a three-part mission of academic programs, professional-technical programs, and community programs. One of the top public comprehensive four-year colleges in the West, with its beautiful campus, small classes, and superb faculty, LCSC is often described as a public institution with the feel and quality of a private college.
Lewis-Clark State College is located at Lewiston, Idaho, where two rivers (Clearwater and Snake), two cities (Lewiston and Clarkston) and two states (Idaho and Washington) come together. It is also where, historically, two peoples and two cultures came together in friendship and discovery.
LCSC prides itself on a student-centered, hands-on experiece for its students, all within a family-like campus atmosphere. With a small students body, LCSC is the perfect place to build relationships with teachers and classmates and to get involved. In addition to 50+ clubs and organizations, the Center for Student Leadership provides opportunities for students to be leaders-in-training as they prepare to be "successful leaders, engaged citizens, and lifelong learners." No matter your passion and chosen career path, LCSC will guide you every step of the way, even through a graduate degree.
