    Macomb at a Glance: (1) In the top two percent nationally for associate degrees granted; (2) Providing learning experiences to more than 48,000 students annually; (3) University Center for bachelor's/master's degrees - a national model for educational partnerships; (4) About 200 degree and certificate programs; (5) More than 120 private scholarships exclusively for Macomb students; (6) Tuition one quarter the cost of a public university; (7) Workforce Development and Continuing Education; (8) Public Service Institute for police, fire, EMT and Homeland security training; (9) Michigan Technical Education Center (M-TECsm) one of 18 in the state helping business and industry stay competitive; and (10) Macomb Center for the Performing Arts and Lorenzo Cultural Center for arts and cultural programming. In-district residents pay $2,859 in tuition and fees per academic year.
