    Midland is a comprehensive community college that is dedicated to excellence, has a commitment to learning & promotes a life-long quest for knowledge. The college offers 50+ associate degree & certificate options, and is also a four-year institution for the Bachelor of Applied Technology degree. .

    Midland College (MC) is known as Your College. The colleges focus is on providing higher education, community services and cultural enrichment to the Midland community. MC offers a rich and exciting range of opportunities and services, as well as a quality educational experience that is both affordable and comfortable. Every semester over 5,000 credit students attend MC—considered to be one of the most beautiful campuses in the nation—at approximately one-third the cost of other Texas four-year public institutions.

    MC has been serving Midland and the region for over 40 years. During that time, Midland College has made an indelible mark on the community, and the college strives to be student centered. The college has a service area of five counties encompassing 12,008 square miles (about the size of the state of Maryland). According to 2012 census data, approximately 200,000 people reside within the five-county service area. The area includes Midland County and the remote counties of Crockett, Pecos, Reagan and Terrell. In addition to offering courses in a traditional classroom environment at the main campus, MC provides educational opportunities through online offerings and interactive television. The colleges Williams Regional Technical Training Center, located in Fort Stockton, Texas, offers credit, developmental education and continuing education courses to the residents of rural Pecos County, 107 miles southwest of Midland.
