    Overview

    MCC offers students pursing the Associate of Arts degree drawing, painting, design, ceramics and photography courses. Coursework in art may applied to an Associate of Arts Degree or to any associate degree at MCC.

    Montcalm Community College was established on March 2, 1965, by an overwhelmingly favorable vote. The first Board of Trustees also was elected and a one-mill annual tax levy was established. Since then, the college has grown and expanded to meet the needs of the communities it serves.

    With average semester enrollments of more than 2,200 students, MCC offers 62 associate degree, certificate and job-training programs; courses for transfer to bachelors degree programs; online courses; and articulations with other colleges that offer students a seamless transfer.

    MCC combines state-of-the-art facilities and technology with its highly qualified instructors, small class sizes and affordable tuition to meet the educational needs of its community. Some of MCCs 62 programs include nursing and allied health, business, integrated manufacturing technology, computers and more.

    MCC provides customized training services that are designed and delivered to area businesses and institutions, as well as a wide range of lifelong learning opportunities for personal enrichment. A variety of noncredit courses ranges from computers and professional development to personal fitness and art instruction. In addition, lectures and other presentations covering a several topics are available.
