    At Oakton Community College, choose from 80 areas of study, ranging from allied health, science, and technology to business and liberal arts. Whether you plan to transfer to a four-year institution or start a career, you'll expand your options and prepare for your next step.

    Interested in learning new skills without pursuing a degree? Each term, you can choose from some 1,500 continuing education courses in subjects as diverse as computer accounting, video production, and landscape painting. The College also offers several options for completing your GED or learning English as a Second Language.

    Whichever course of study you choose, you'll enjoy easy access to classes and student services. In addition to our centrally located campuses in Des Plaines and Skokie, Oakton offers courses and programs at some 240 off-site locations throughout the community. Extensive distance-learning options include more than 90 online courses each year.
