    Overview

Viterbo University Conservatory for the Performing Arts is home to a new generation of young artists destined for careers in the performing arts. Here in the beautiful upper Mississippi River Valley, you’ll find professional artist faculty who meet you where you are and guide you toward the artist you want to be.

Our innovative approach to performing arts education is grounded in the belief that the world needs artists with a strong sense of self, a commitment to the common good and skills to communicate. This is what we mean by a “well-rounded” education that will help you stand out from your peers.

USA Today named La Crosse, Wisconsin, #7 of the top 25 best small college towns. U.S. News & World Report considers our small city nestled in the bluffs of the Mississippi valley one of the nation's 10 Best Places to Live. Our academic buildings, dorms and student apartments are located on about two acres on the city's south side, with soccer, softball and baseball fields a few miles north of the main campus.

At Viterbo, we believe learning is a lifelong process involving more than just academics. It’s also about experiencing life and growing intellectually, culturally, and spiritually. With an 11:1 student-to-faculty ratio you can expect to be challenged and supported as you work and play in state-of-the-art facilities with a faculty that cares deeply about your success.
