    Overview

William Jewell College promises students an outstanding liberal arts education that cultivates leadership, service, and spiritual growth within a community inspired by Christian ideals and committed to open, rigorous intellectual pursuits.

Some of the most important lessons youll learn at William Jewell are actually about yourself. Your experiences outside the classroom help to shape the person youre becoming, and there are plenty of activities that provide a balance to academic life.

Thirty-eight nationally affiliated and 33 campus-wide organizations offer a range of experiences, from service organizations to the campus newspaper. Our three fraternities and four sororities provide alternative living-and-learning options. Students receive free tickets to the colleges Harriman-Jewell Series events, which features performances by such artists as STOMP, Wynton Marsalis with The Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra and Broadway plays and musicals.
