The Bay Area Science and Engineering Fair (BASEF) is an Ontario-based regional competition where students present projects, gain recognition, and can advance to higher levels. Affiliated with the Canada Wide Science Fair and the International Science and Engineering Fair, top projects move on to compete nationally and internationally. Open to students grades seven through twelve living in the City of Hamilton, the Regional Municipality of Halton, Six Nations, Haldimand, Norfolk, Brant Counties.
