    Does your child want to learn how to code in Python? If so, this is the perfect introductory course for them. In this program, students will get a comprehensive introduction to Python by using a block-based and text-based coding web-based coding platform.

    Our incredible Wiz Kid Coding instructors will teach your child how to create engaging projects and mini-games using their newfound python coding skills. The course will also cover core terms of the Python language and scripting in general, such as: variables, statements, loops, and logical operators.

    Prerequisites
    This class is an introductory class designed to give students an introduction to python while teaching them key and fundamental coding skills. However, students should have basic to intermediate computer and typing skills in order to have the best class experience. This includes (but is not limited to):

    - knowing how to use their keyboard, identifying letters on their keyboard

    - knowing how to use their mouse (right click and left click).

    - being able to comfortably navigate the internet

    Technical Requirements
    - Computer or Chromebook with a microphone and video camera

    - Headphones and mouse

    - Free online Coding Environment
