    In this 4-week course, students will have a fantastic time designing, coding, and publishing their own Roblox Video Games! Overview

    Does your child love to play Roblox and want to learn how to design awesome multi-player video games? If so, this is the perfect class for them! Over the course of 4 weeks, students will learn to design, build, and code their own Roblox Video Game that they can share with family and friends! Students will learn key Video Game Development concepts like: 3D Design, Collaborative Game Development, UX Design, and more - all skills that will improve their digital skills while enhancing their problem solving and collaboration skills.

    Roblox Projects: Students will express their creativity and unleash their inner Game Designer by designing their own multi-player Roblox Game! Students will learn how to create multiple Roblox Obby Games.

    Small-Group Class: To ensure each child gets the attention they need to succeed, our classes are small which gives our teachers the opportunity to give each child the individual attention and teaching they need.

    Build Problem Solving, Creativity and Critical Thinking Skills
    Learn in a collaborative and social environment

    This class is an introductory class, however, students should have basic computer and typing skills in order to have the best class experience. This includes skills like knowing how to use their keyboard, identifying letters on their keyboard, and knowing how to use their mouse (right click and left click). Please note that this class is not a coding class, although students will be introduced to Lua scripting and use some coding to enhance their Game Design

    Technical Requirements
    This class will be taught in Wiz Kid Learning's Virtual Classroom! Simply sign in to your Wiz Kid Learning account 15 minutes before class, click "join class" and you will be connected to a Video Call with your Wiz Kid Instructor and class!

    Your child will need the following for this program

    Students will need the following materials for this class:
    Computer with a microphone and video camera
    Headphones and mouse
    A download of Roblox Studio (it’s free) and works on Windows and Mac computers. You can download it at the following link (click “start creating” to download). This must be downloaded prior to the start of class

    Please note that Chromebooks, tablets, Linux Computers are not compatible with this class.
