    Alzar Gap offers three different programs that can either stand-alone or combined for an engaging year of exploration:

    Patagonia Exchange: Learn and adventure in one of the most beautiful places the world has to offer. Patagonia Exchange will help you develop genuine leadership skills in a real-life setting. You’ll culturally immerse yourself with Spanish classes and local host family activities, all while surrounded by the beautiful Patagonian countryside. Crystal-clear lakes, sandy beaches, lush meadows, Southern Chile has it all. The Patagonia Experience will change the way you see the world... for the better.

    Wild and Scenic: The Wild and Scenic gap program lets you discover the American West in a way few else can. With a focus on outdoor adventure and leadership training, you’ll earn industry-leading certifications to lead your own adventures or kickstart a career in the ski, whitewater and outdoor education industries. Hot springs, pristine rivers, rugged mountains, the American West is the complete outdoor experience. Forge lifelong connections while having the time of your life.

    Western Whitewater: Western Whitewater focuses on outdoor adventure and leadership training while you live and breathe the captivating beauty of the American West. You’ll earn industry-leading certifications to launch a career in the whitewater, ski and outdoor education industries, or even plan your own solo adventure. Beyond technical expertise, you’ll learn how to manage group dynamics, risk, and medical emergencies. Build connections for life with the stunning wilderness of the American West as your backdrop.
