A unique exploration for ages 18-35 before college or career. We recognize that consciousness is the root of all being, and we use the tools of introspection, meditation, and yogic philosophy to help you discover who you are, your life dharma and direction. We draw on the celebrated and timeless teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda (author of Autobiography of a Yogi), who was the first Indian yoga master to live and teach in the west.
Onsite experiences are at the Ananda Meditation Retreat, part of America's oldest spiritual community. Live alongside a dynamic community of monastics and other residents who are living the teachings of Yogananda. “Ananda” means “bliss” in Sanskrit, and the goal of Ananda is the inner happiness found from meditation and yoga. Community life, service, farming, classes in yogic philosphy, vegetarian cooking & more. Travel to Yellowstone, Yosemite, India, Peru, and Egypt change annually.
