    Overview

Discover the wonders of India on our transformative 6-week Gap Year course, exploring vibrant cities like Bengaluru, Mysuru, Kochi, Madurai, Mumbai, Jaipur, New Delhi, and Varanasi. Join us starting in January for a life-changing experience that perfectly combines learning, laughter, and adventure.

This course offers both academic and experiential value. While India is a popular destination for adventurous gap year students, many return with only personal experiences and limited understanding of Indian culture and its significance in the modern world. With AHA, you’ll delve into India’s rich history, diverse religions, and stunning landscapes. But you won’t just be an observer; you’ll actively engage in traditional Indian crafts and practices, including beadwork, dance, and cooking.

What We Explore: Our course seeks to expand your intellectual horizons by examining India through diverse lenses, including art, architecture, sculpture, sustainability, agriculture, flora and fauna, religion, politics, medicine, technology, and Bollywood. We will also delve into themes of nature and sustainability, with a particular focus on water. Highlights include visits to the Earth University in Dehradun and insights from influential thinkers like Vandana Shiva.

Our Methods: Our exceptional AHA tutors will be joined by trusted local experts to create a comprehensive learning experience, featuring university lecturers and a selection of guest speakers from renowned Indian institutions.

Who for: This course is designed for engaged, curious, and ambitious young people between the ages of 18 and 24 who are eager to explore and learn about India.
