Reading Partners is a national literacy nonprofit that engages AmeriCorps service members to support elementary-aged students on their path toward reading proficiency.

Basic requirements to serve AmeriCorps
- Age: Must be at least 18 years or older at the beginning of your service (there is no age cap!)
- Education: Must possess a high school diploma or GED at the start of your service
- Citizenship: Hold US Citizenship, Permanent Resident or National status, (We cannot accept applications from international students on OPT/CPT visas, nor can we accept applications from DACA recipients)
- Term limits: Have not completed more than four (4) terms with AmeriCorps

AmeriCorps Servcie Positions
Program Coordinator - Leads the day-to-day operations of a Reading Partners reading center at a partner site.
Regional Program Coordinator- Serves as a mobile coordinator to support multiple reading centers, supporting the implementation of our traditional and distance tutoring programs (or a hybrid of both).
Literacy Lead -Provides direct tutoring to students including in-person and online programs, focusing on target students who can benefit from more individualized instruction.
Volunteer Coordinator - Leads recruitment and onboarding of volunteer tutors, and implements community engagement initiatives in the region.
