Point School Puerto Rico is a hybrid gap year program designed for young men, 18-22, who are searching for a one-of-a-kind experience designed just for them. We aim to help our young men grow into adulthood with the ability to thrive. We ask our young people to challenge themselves into being their best selves. We ask them to be vulnerable and address their areas of growth. We are not a program for everyone. We are a program for young men with the will to discover, learn and thrive in new experiences and opportunities. Our young men are fully capable of succeeding in higher education and/or the workforce, but for one reason or another, they have stumbled while emerging into adulthood.
We are a very small program with 6-8 students at a time. Students are encouraged to build strong relationships with their peer and staff to use as a support system during their time at Point School PR. Students will learn how to create and maintain strong healthy relationships and friendships, and understand how to do the same at home.
