The gap semester program Rustic offers is amazing. The three months I spent in the South Pacific were unforgettable and life changing. Rustic created an awesome itinerary and we always had something fun and exciting to do. It was an awesome combination between service work and pure fun. I loved my leaders and the people on my trip.

I would definitely recommend Rustic to anyone and everyone!

Going on this trip was hands-down the best decision I've ever made! Rustic delivers an experience unparalleled to any other organization. The leaders are phenomenal people who truly care about the success of their students and the students are some of the most conscientious, excited, adventurous, cool people out there. I've never felt closer to a group of people in such a short amount of time as I did on this program. I was genuinely sad to leave and I wish it could have gone on for months more. I learned so much about myself and about the world on my gap semester, much more than I've ever learned in a classroom. If you want to travel on your gap year, there is no better way to do it than with Rustic! You will not regret it!

    • Service in Southeast Asia Gap Semester

I travelled with Rustic around Southeast Asia for a semester and it is one of the best experiences I have ever had. The program took me to places you could never possibly find on your own and also gave me unique opportunities, like staying with a local family in a rural village in Thailand. The leaders as well as the local staff are incredible people who make your time with Rustic unforgetable. I probably learned more about life in my three months than I would have learned in many years of school. I think taking a gap is a great way to grow as a person and experience new things, and Rustic Pathways really helps make the best of this important time.
