Formerly known as the Land of the Kings, Rajasthan is a beautiful example of India’s age-old opulence and grandeur. The state is full of colors and vibrance, a perfect blend of culture, music & cuisine, with a memorable history, filled with honour, chivalry and heroism. Golden-sand deserts, traditional handicrafts, an authentic cuisine, and jaw-dropping palaces along with welcoming smiles from the locals make Rajasthan a perfect spot to be in.
The journey starts at Jaipur International Airport where you will be picked up by a coordinator, who will drop you to the accommodation and introduce you to the nearby markets, restaurants, metro system and so on.
SIM Card will be covered in the experience fees. The first day will be majorly an introduction to the workplace followed by an orientation picnic with your Experience Captain covering safety guidelines, budgeting tips, other tricks and much more.
The participants will be involved in meaningful volunteer work with various organisations present in the visited locations. The volunteer work timings will be usually from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
The job descriptions available are teaching, healthcare, marketing, community service, animal care & women empowerment.
During the weekends, you can explore other states, cities, towns and even villages. You can visit other areas, from mountains in Himachal Pradesh or Uttarakhand, to the capital New Delhi. For a taste of wildlife, you can visit Sariska National Park. If you want to see the famous Taj Mahal, you can visit Agra and if you're interested in heritage you can always go to Gwarlior-Orchha-Khajuraho.
Note that from Jaipur, you can take direct flights to anywhere in India. So if you're interested in visiting South India or North-East India, you can always map out the same easily.
The ideal duration of the experience in Rajasthan is 2-weeks but we've kept it flexible according to your needs. If you want to explore other areas, The Tarzan Way Team will create a personalized travel experience and help you with bookings, and otherwise, throughout the experience.
