    CAVA is an accredited, tuition-free, online academy for students in grades 9–12 in California. Stride Career Prep at CAVA puts students on a path to success after high school. While earning their high school diploma, students can choose a course concentration in one of five in-demand industry sectors.

    Arts, Media & Entertainment: This industry sector helps students explore an array of career options in the multi-faceted and exciting world of the entertainment industry. Students can choose from the following pathways: Animation, Graphic Design, Game Design and Integration, Web Design, and Digital Photography. 

    Business & Finance: This industry sector offers students a great way to learn about many different aspects of business. They can choose from the following pathways: Business Management, Finance, and International Business.

    Health Science & Medical Technology: Healthcare is one of the fastest growing industries in the United States. And our students can choose from the following pathways: Dental Assisting, Medical Assisting, Medical Billing and Coding, Medical Transcription, Nursing Assisting, Pharmacy Tech, and Sports Medicine.

    Information & Communication Technologies: This industry sector offers students options to learn about a range of IT solutions including understanding, managing, and supporting rapidly emerging software, networking, information systems, and more. They can take courses in the following pathways: Games and Simulations, Information Support Services, Networking, Systems Programming, and Web and Social Media.

    Marketing, Sales & Services: Students in this industry sector can explore professions in planning, managing, and performing marketing activities to reach organizational objectives. They can take courses in the following pathways: Entrepreneurship/Self-Employment, Marketing, and Professional Sales.

    Families in California do not pay tuition for a student to attend this online public school. Common household items and office supplies like printer ink and paper are not provided.
