    Overview

DKJA provides a unique educational experience. Our school's mission is to educate our children and the greater DKJA community to be knowledgeable and responsible citizens of the world, committed to Jewish values and lifelong learning.

Through DKJAs Vision, the school will continue to be a model of academic excellence where students celebrate learning, the richness of Jewish life, and Torah values.

As a FranklinCovey Leader in Me School, and the only K-12 Jewish Day School in the nation with this acclaimed designation, DKJA is in the process of establishing itself as a Lighthouse School: a leadership model of excellence that other schools emulate. DKJA recently hosted area school administrators, board members, and community members during its inaugural Leadership Day, an entirely student-led endeavor. Interactive demonstrations and examples of how the Leader In Me Program has positively impacted DKJA were presented. The event was a showcase of how students have embraced leadership roles within DKJA and the local community, following the Stephen R. Covey 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
