    Overview

The mission of The John Crosland School is to provide students in grades K-12, who have specific attention and learning differences, the individualized education to achieve their highest potential.

The John Crosland School strives to be an innovative pioneer in the attention and learning disabilities fields. Crosland offers careful personal attention, focusing on the needs of the childs whole development. Crosland encourages creative thinking and exploration of the world so that the students develop a love of learning that persists long after they leave school.

Crosland uses an integrated, multi-disciplinary approach to teaching children with learning differences, dyslexia and ADHD, enhancing classroom curricula by offering alternative instruction and assessment. Crosland offers a rigorous curriculum in reading, writing, mathematics, science and social studies. In addition, a rich curriculum incorporating technology and the arts helps to create new pathways in the brain, and provides the opportunity for children to express themselves in new ways. Our use of technology offers a way for students to learn, while preparing them for the ongoing advances of society.
