    Overview

Episcopal is a PreK-3 through 12th grade Baton Rouge private school and educational community committed to discovering and developing individual potential, preparing each student for college success and lives of purpose.

Located on a beautiful 55-acre campus in the southeastern section of the city, it was established in 1965 as a challenging college preparatory school. It now serves students in grades PK-12. The low student/teacher ratio of 11:1 allows a relationship between student and teacher that recognizes the personal needs and individual levels of achievement of its 935 students. Episcopal is a member of the following organizations: the National Association of Episcopal Schools, the National Association of Independent Schools, the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools, and the Southern Association of Independent Schools.
