    Overview

Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy is a Catholic, Dominican, college-preparatory day and boarding high school for girls in the hills of La Canada Flintridge, overlooking Pasadena and serving Los Angeles and Southern California. We educate young women for a life of faith, integrity and truth.

The education is strong and the bonds of community last at FSHA. Love, respect and compassion underpin the people, the place and the programs that make FSHA the special place it is.

Our dedicated staff recognizes, with trained eyes and compassionate hearts, the inner beauty and hidden potential of the teenage girl. Over the course of four high school years, she realizes the fullness of who she is meant to be. The supportive interaction within the school community combined with FSHA's nurturing and challenging curriculum creates what only can be characterized as the Flintridge experience.

For 83 years, the Dominican Sisters and their colleagues have nurtured the dreams, intellectual curiosity and goals of young women in a quiet yet powerful way. FSHA graduates walk securely and confidently into the world and make their indelible mark. The entire Flintridge Sacred Heart community celebrates the achievements of the thousands of young women who have passed through FSHA's doors and looks with hope to those who come to share the joys of life on the Hill.
