    Overview

The mission of Gann Academy is to educate, to inspire, and to empower intellectually confident, passionately engaged, ethically responsible Jews who, through critical thinking and the contribution of their unique voices, will create a vibrant Jewish future and build a better world.

As an independent Jewish high school, Gann offers a unique curriculumone that combines a rich and rigorous academic program in general studies with the study of Hebrew, Jewish thought and history, and sacred Jewish texts. Students who come to Gann are choosing a Jewish school. For some, this may be the first time in their lives that they have been a part of a Jewish community where Judaism and Jewish culture are front and center. Others have grown up in Jewish communities, but are unfamiliar with the varieties of Jewish experience. Orthodox, Conservative or ReformGann may be their first experience being part of a community where there is so much diversity with respect to Jewish practice.
