    Halstrom Academy is a private middle school and high school with flexible scheduling options providing individualized 1:1 instruction and mastery-based learning ensuring that all students meet their full academic potential.

    Halstrom Academy students are regular kids who are responsible, self-directed learners who are motivated to succeed inside and outside of the classroom.

    Types of Students:

    • Actors - Aspiring professional actors and models attend Halstrom for the flexible scheduling options along with the ability to attend class on campus or online.
    • Athletes - Aspiring professional athletes and Olympians attend Halstrom for the flexible scheduling options along with the ability to attend class on campus or online. Over 100 college prep and AP courses at Halstrom are NCAA approved.
    • Traditional Student - Students who prefer 1:1 instruction vs. a large classroom attend Halstrom to learn their way on their schedule or who choose to: Supplement a class not offered at their home school; Grade Remediation/Course Recovery and transfer grade or credit back to their home school; Accelerate their education by taking extra classes in addition to their home school coursework.
    • Unique Learners - Students with learning disabilities (such as ADHD) attend Halstrom for the 1:1 instruction and Halstrom's content mastery approach to learning. Halstrom ensures that each student masters the content of each lesson and course before moving to the next.
    • Working Professionals - Students who are working or have started their career attend Halstrom for the flexible scheduling options. They are able to customize their course work and schedule to maximize their time outside of the classroom.

    All Halstrom students have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities such as leadership club, yearbook club, music, art and volunteer opportunities. In addition, there are two designated spaces at Halstrom where students can call their own. They can choose from "The Quiet Study" where they can do their homework or get help from teachers or "The Study" where they can socialize with friends, watch TV and play music.
