    Overview

Ridley College, a private boarding and day school in Canada, is internationally recognized for inspiring leadership, igniting creativity and nurturing the human spirit in a world of infinite possibilities.

Founded in 1889, Ridley College provides an inspiring learning experience that guides individuals to achieve their potential through knowledge, discovery and social responsibility. 600 boys and girls from across Canada and 40 countries worldwide are enrolled. The school's 100-acre campus is located an hour's drive from Toronto and 20 minutes west of Niagara Falls. Superior facilities include a 300-seat performing arts centre, modern classrooms and labs, a beautiful gothic chapel, ice hockey arena, two gymnasia, swimming pool, squash and tennis courts, 10 playing fields, and dance and fitness studios. Students have campus-wide, high-speed, wireless internet access via their Apple Macintosh laptop computers. Dozens of competitive and recreational sports and activities are offered.

The curriculum is advanced level and non-semestered, and is augmented by SAT preparation. In September 2012 Ridley started offering courses enabling students to earn both the International Baccalaureate Diploma and the Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Almost all Ridley graduates proceed directly to Canadian and American universities. Financial assistance to 30% of the student body exceeds $2.2 million.
