Chancellor Academy is a school that serves non-traditional 6th-12th grade students from diverse communities who have been unable to achieve success in reaching their true potential in other educational settings.
Chancellor Academys Mission is to ensure students acquire the necessary tools, skills, attitudes, opportunities and experiences to mature emotionally, develop socially, and progress academically according to their level of ability in order to become productive participants at home, at school and in the community. We provide specialized educational services to students with the following disorders: Anxiety, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity, Bipolar, Depression, Language, Learning, Mood, Obsessive Compulsive, Oppositional Defiant, Posttraumatic Stress, School Phobia, Aspergers Syndrome, and Autistic continuum.
In addition to our classroom teachers, our staff includes a School Counselor, a School Social Worker, a Clinical Social Worker, a School Psychologist, a Rehabilitation Counselor, a Drug and Alcohol Counselor, a Speech Language Specialist/Pathologist, a School Occupational Therapist, and a Coordinator of Cooperative/Vocational/Technical Education.
