    Overview

Founded in 1973, The Child School/Legacy High School is an independent K-12 school that educates students with learning disabilities. Students are given appropriate accommodations so that they receive full access to a general education curriculum.

The Child School/Legacy High School is a learning community that focuses on the total child. Teachers, administrators, and staff collaborate with parents to accommodate each student's learning style so that all of our students experience success. We embrace each child's unique set of skills in order to enhance his or her self-image, motivation, and social skills - all of which are critical to a child's success.
