    Overview

The Orme School is a unique community of teachers and students who share a passion for academic excellence, adventure, and personal challenge.

An Orme education is unlike any other. In its beautiful location, which averages 10 to 15 degrees cooler than Phoenix and is only an hour north of Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, The Orme School is an oasis for those who are drawn to our guiding principles of Excellence, Tradition, and Character. Our 300 acre campus is surrounded by a considerably larger cattle ranch and 1.25 million acres of the Prescott National Forest.

Students take part in traditional academically challenging programs including AP courses, while participating in exceptional outdoor educational opportunities designed to build confidence and a sense of community that reflect the historic roots of the western ranch school. Students round out their classroom learning by participating in cutting edge sustainability practices, competing in a variety of team sports including our recent State Championship football and basketball teams, soccer, rodeo competitions, and learning to ride, swim, climb and hike on our spacious campus and ranch.
