    Overview

The Pathways Schools operate six therapeutic educational programs in Maryland's Anne Arundel, Montgomery and Prince George's counties for students aged 11 through 21 who have emotional and behavioral disabilities.

To meet the myriad of diverse student needs, Pathways works to access community-based opportunities and support from various businesses, agencies, and organizations to work with families and students. Our vision is for students to become better advocates for themselves.

Students are taught to identify their strengths and needs while they set realistic goals that will assist them to successfully transition to public school, continued education or work. They learn to utilize available resources and acquire the academic, vocational, social and technological skills to participate and contribute positively in society.
