    Overview

Oklahoma's only accredited, non-public school specifically designed to meet the needs of students in grades 1-12 who have been diagnosed with learning disabilities, attention disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Underlying Town & Country Schools approach to education is our recognition that each student is an individual. We believe that every child is entitled to individualized education that promotes social and academic achievements while developing responsibility, values and respect for self and others. We honor and encourage the unique talents of each child by providing interactive instruction that stimulates curiosity, discovery and a love for learning.

Children with learning differences are typically frustrated, anxious and tense in an educational environment. By providing individualized attention, family support and curriculum modifications, we are able to relieve students of otherwise stressful situations, and allow for real learning to take place.

Town & Countrys program differs from pull-out or inclusion programs found in other schools. Our individualized approach eliminates the students fear of competing with other students who can think, read, write, communicate and perform in a more expedient manner. We focus on the childs positive aspects and skills instead of their deficiencies – thereby building their self-esteem and motivation.
