    Overview

At Guide Us, we will create a realistic, balanced list of colleges, emphasizing affordability and scholarships based on merit and need. My individualized approach will ensure that your academic needs and goals will be addressed.

I listen to each student and his or her family because, as an experienced counselor, I understand every client is unique. I regularly attend conferences and visit college campuses to form and reinforce relationships with college admissions representatives. I also network extensively with other independent college counselors through HECA and IECA, where we meet to discuss current trends and share resources.

I work with students across the entire spectrum of majors, test scores, and financial considerations. As a licensed and certified guidance counselor, I also have extensive experience working with students who have been supported throughout high school with either an IEP or 504 plan. The Guide Us approach will take all of these aspects into consideration when creating a specialized plan for you.

Even after your college applications have been submitted, I will provide continuing support, ensuring that colleges receive every necessary document and then help you evaluate the acceptances. I will also offer students and parents alike, guidance on filing financial papers, selecting housing, and making the transition to college life.
