    Overview

All-American Model UN is the leading Model United Nations education organization. Since 2011, we have worked with thousands of the brightest students and pushed them to become better Model UN delegates, students, leaders, and global citizens.

    ALL-AMERICAN MODEL UN HISTORY

All-American Model UN started in 2011 with a team of 12 incredible high school students who competed at Asia's largest Model UN conference in Beijing. Since then, we have specialized in bringing the best out of students by using Model UN as a vehicle to engage student passions.

We are the leading outcomes-based Model UN organization in the world.

    OUTCOMES

92% of our students see a marked improvement in their speaking
90% of students go on to win individual awards at Model UN conferences
80% of students from the Summer Academies re-enroll in future programs
70% of Summer Academy students are accepted onto our #1 ranked travel team

    WORKSHOPS AND LESSONS

We offer many workshops and skill labs during the Summer Academies, including: Debate Flow Workshop, Vocab of MUN, International Solution Development, Negotiation and Lobbying, Impromptu Speaking, Bloc Leadership, and more.

Request information above or visit the website for a full list of workshops and daily simulations.

    SUMMER MODEL UN ACADEMIES

All-American Model UN offers three summer programs:

The Diplomacy Academy challenges students to be better students, delegates, and global citizens. Students will study traditional committees, GA, ECOSOC, parliamentary procedure, resolution writing, and caucusing.

The Crisis Academy focuses on crisis-style committees and simulations. Students will learn to write high-impact directives and crisis notes and how to act as crisis directors.

The Ambassador Academy trains students for traditional GA and crisis committees in a jam-packed week of workshops, simulations, and skill labs.

    THE ALL-AMERICAN MODEL UN DIFFERENCE

1.) Individual Attention & Feedback- Every All-American Model UN Summer Academy student receives daily one-on-one feedback and coaching. All-American Model UN has the smallest student-to-staff ratio for Model UN summer programs.

2.) Leadership DevelopmentThe majority of our students either hold student leadership positions or assume leadership roles within a year of completing All-American Model UN Academies. Our programs stress four key components of leadership: emotional intelligence, pattern recognition, preparation, and advocacy.

3.) Proven Track Record of Success- Our teams have won Delegation (or team) Awards in 98% of the conferences that we have participated in, with 90% of our students winning individual accolades. Over 33% of our students go onto an Ivy League university, Georgetown University, Stanford, or the University of Chicago.

    Testimonials(5)

    • Two things are true about the All-American Summer Academies: first, you will become better. And second, you will get better at a lot of different things.

      - Noah R - August 10, 2017
    • The Diplomacy Academy is what got me hooked on Model UN. It’s been an important part of my life ever since, and now I’m on the NAIMUN Secretariat!'

      - Jaebok L - July 30, 2015
    • In addition to building my confidence in MUN, the Academy gave me a chance to research an international issue that I used in my college application.

      - Ayia R - August 11, 2019
    • My week at the Diplomacy Academy was invaluable to my time doing Model UN in high school. I entered with very little experience, and after I completed the Academy, I started winning awards at conferences hosted by Georgetown and Cornell. The Diplomacy Academy changed my life.

      - Sophia A. - June 14, 2021
    • At the All-American Model UN Summer Academies, I made new friends, discovered how much I love Model UN, and learned how to win awards. I recommend attending an All-American Summer Academy to all of my classmates because it opened my eyes to what it’s like to be around people with the same passion. I’ll always be grateful for my All-American Model UN family.
