    Overview

Our summer program offers campers the opportunity to choose activities, go on field trips & have fun! Ancona Summer program offers eight themed week-long sessions for preprimary and primary-aged students and a Counselor in Training (CIT) program that will provide a dynamic leadership experience for rising 6th-8th graders!

Ancona educates students to become creative problem solvers, confident risk takers and independent, lifelong learners. Rooted in the Montessori tradition, our child-centered school stimulates the joy of learning and builds a strong academic foundation.

The Counselor in Training (CIT) Program offers a dynamic leadership development experience for rising 6th–8th graders interested in honing communication, teamwork, and mentorship skills. CITs will engage in structured learning, hands-on training, and weekly field trips, preparing them for future leadership roles in camp and beyond.

Preprimary campers will enjoy Montessori based activities including weekly field trips. Primary campers will enjoy a more traditional summer camp experience campers including programming choices involving arts and crafts, building activities, sports, outdoor games, field trips, outdoor play, water activities, and anything else that the creative minds of our counselors can come up with!
