    Overview

Ancona educates students to become creative problem solvers, confident risk takers and independent, lifelong learners. Rooted in the Montessori tradition, our child-centered school stimulates the joy of learning and builds a strong academic foundation. Our summer program offers campers the opportunity to choose activities, go on field trips & have fun!

Ancona Summer consists of two camps, Caterpillar Camp for 3-year-olds through kindergarteners and Butterfly Camp for rising 1st-6th graders. Rising 7th and 8th grade current Ancona students and rising 9th grade Ancona Alumni can join us as volunteer Counselors in Training.

Catepillar campers will enjoy Montessori based activities including weekly field trips. Butterfly campers will enjoy a more traditional summer camp experience campers including programming choices involving arts and crafts, building activities, sports, outdoor games, field trips, outdoor play, water activities, and anything else that the creative minds of our counselors can come up with!
