    Overview

Apogee's Pacific Coast program is a wonderful opportunity for young cyclists ages 14-16 to sightsee and engage in community service riding one of the most spectacular bicycle routes in the world. Pedal along the famously beautiful coasts of Oregon and California, sleep in state parks along the water's edge, learn to surf and explore the sights of San Francisco on this three-week, 600 mile journey.

During this trip, campers will have the chance to cycle along the coastlines of Oregon and California along miles of beaches, ocean vistas, redwood forests, and stunning farmlands. You'll stop occassionally for exciting activities such as taking a surf lesson on a California beach and volunteering in Redwoods National Park. Over the course of three weeks, you will bike over 600 miles and be challenged mentally and physically. By the end of the program, you will have seen countless unforgettable sites and amassed invaluable life experiences with their new friends.
