ArtsBridge Summer prepares performing artists for their college auditions with intensive training on a college campus. High school students who are seriously considering a major or minor in the arts will work with top college faculty from around the country. Students leave with the confidence and tools needed to succeed in the college audition & admissions process!
ArtsBridge Summer offers five, two-week programs which are all designed to prepare students for their college auditions:
Classical Vocal Performance: offers high school singers intensive voice study with faculty from top college programs. Students will concentrate on art song, opera aria, and classic musical theater repertoire. Curriculum will focus on text study & storytelling, language & diction, vocology, and how to be successful in college auditions! All students will receive individual voice lessons and coachings, along with group classes in repertoire and performance strategies.
Contemporary Vocal Performance: offers high school singers intensive voice study with faculty from top college programs. During their time in residence, students will explore a diverse array of contemporary commercial repertoire including pop, rock, country, jazz, R&B, singer-songwriter, and more. Curriculum will include classes in lyric interpretation, performance skills, vocal health and wellness, and techniques to ace an audition! Students will also receive private voice lessons and coachings.
Dramatic Acting: Students prepare for conservatory-style actor training with the type of rigorous instruction found in top college and conservatory programs. Designed to improve vocal and physical instruments, explore vital acting techniques, and get students fully prepped for the college audition process.
Musical Theater: Students are guided on what it takes to be a well-rounded musical theater artist, from acting to song & dance with an eye on college admission in the performing arts. Rising high school seniors gain valuable insight into technique, repertoire, and preparing for college auditions.
Musical Theater 2: Students receive specialized training on the pillars of musical theater, including private voice lessons, acting fundamentals, and dance for advanced high school sophomores and juniors. Students who are serious about studying musical theater but not quite ready to concentrate solely on their college auditions can focus on their core training and hone their skills.
ArtsBridge Summer offers two, one-week programs which are open to students who are enrolled in a two-week program with no additional application or audition:
JumpStart: Students work closely with our experienced team of college admission and essay experts in this college application and essay bootcamp open to rising seniors. Curriculum includes comprehensive review of the application process; one-on-one support to complete the Common App; time & support to write your main college essay; practice interviews with expert coaches; and in-depth resume review.
Screen Acting: Students will utilize and build upon their existing stage skills to explore the craft of acting for the screen. A series of exercises and hands-on experience will illuminate the differences between stage and screen. Students will film partnered scenes under professional direction and assist in the technical aspects of filming scenes for their peers. Students will leave the program with a professionally edited copy of their filmed scene. The program will also cover self-tape tips for college auditions.
ArtsBridge Summer 2025 programs will take place at Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio.
JumpStart and Screen Acting will take place from July 13th - July 18th 2025. The two week programs will run from July 18th - August 1st 2025!
Tuition for two-week programs is $4,500 and room and board is $1,550. Tuition for for one-week programs is $2,750 and room and board is $600. Need-based scholarships for tuition and need-based application fee waivers are available. Contact us to learn more.
