    Overview

    If you are a high school student interested in pursuing interior design at the college level, make plans to attend Ball State Universities interior design workshops on campus or online! The Youth Interior Design Forum is open to high school students of any grade level. You'll explore the fundamentals of 2D and 3D concepts, learn basic drawing and illustration skills, play with color use and light effects, and learn how interior environments affect human behavior. 

    Upon completion of the course, you'll have

    • a portfolio of work which is a required component for many accredited college applications for the study in interior design
    • an official certificate of completion
    • a waiver for interior design 3-credit hour elective course at Ball State University
    • knowledge and understanding of the design process in the field of interior design
